Default voip/voip.inc.php on line 236

Hello,

If you are using the voip billing module, you may want to make sure that you have enough did numbers imported into the database under:
VOIP
- DID POOL
- Import

If you do not, and someone executes the ordering process, your server will die.

Also, your logfile will fill up fast. (error_log or the ssl_error_log)

This appears to be a bug.

Can you clarify what you mean by 'enough DIDs' ?

If you create a product using the VOIP Plugin, and you use the Default (USA, UK, Canada) DID Pool Plugin, make sure that you have numbers available in the Voip / DID POOL section. If you do not, and someone tries to create an account that uses this / VOIP plugin in conjunction to the DID Pool Plugin, the server will crash and crash quickly. The error logs will also fill up. In a 3 minute time frame, the error log exceeded 3.5 gigs.

I have tested this several times and can re-duplicate it.

There should be a "check safe" built in that looks at the database to see if numbers are available. If available do - else type of statement.

the else statement can echo something like "System is unavailable", or something. Then an email could be sent out saying that an error took place during signup. No DID's available.

Just a thought.

Hi I get the same error when Using/selecting the Magrathea UK DID plugin, this plugin brings DID's directly from Magrathea via Telenet, however I get the Line 236 error which starts at Line 231
